Australorp

When it comes to chickens, you cannot beat that beetle green sheen of the Australorp. These delightful birds come in both bantam and large fowl, so will suit any size coop and are perfect for beginners.

Usage: Laying

Our Turkeys

At present The Highland Homestead is home to our beautiful group of British White Turkeys. The British White turkeys are one of the rarest breeds of heritage turkeys, with mostly only the commercialised variety available. These turkeys are beautiful, noble birds well suited for ornamental and laying purposes.

Turkey hens will be available later in the year. Please contact us if you want to be put on our waitlist.
